Breakthrough Advertising Tactics Spotted in the Wild

See How 25 Current Ads Are Using the Tactics and Techniques from Breakthrough Advertising to Get More Sales and Leads

“Copy is not written. It is assembled.”

This quote is from Gene Schwartz, given during a presentation late in his career to a small group of direct marketers.

The first time I heard this quote, it instantly made sense to me. And it forever changed the way I looked at copy.

I was no longer distracted by the words being used in an ad, email or sales letter.

Instead, I found that I was able to hone in on the technique behind the copy that was being used.

The words of an ad have intention behind them. And that intention is a result of a copywriter trying to achieve a certain reaction from the reader.

To get this reaction, several techniques can be used. And when you begin to notice these techniques, you will be able to think about how you might use those same strategies for your own offers.

And this is what I want to show you on the following pages so that you can start spotting these Breakthrough Advertising techniques in the wild too.

Hey this is Chris Mason, co-author of Breakthrough Advertising Mastery and I’m THRILLED that you’re here.

Once you download the special report above, you’re going to see a small collection of present day ads from my private swipe file.

Next to each advertisement you’ll see my notes that tell you what Level of Awareness or Market Sophistication Stage is being targeted. I will highlight these in yellow.

My goal with this report is to help you train your eye to see through the copy to the emotional building blocks behind it.

To your success!

Chris
